HUMAN TEAM

The boat captains accompanying the crossing are designated by the Association and are of recognized prestige in the locality as proven by past successes. The success of the swim is, in part, because of the team’s commitment.

During the crossing, the skipper will verify the swim by filling in a crossing sheet that certifies the timing and the positions of the swimmer, making sure that the regulations are complied with.
